Luke and Kristen Rider

Luke Rider is the President and CEO of Cross Connection Outreach. He lives in Mozambique with his wife Kristen, where they are ministry and community development directors. He has been living in Mozambique since 2006 and has a passion to see lives changed through evangelism and community development. Luke has been a student of Mozambican culture and become fluent in two of it’s local languages. He has a strategic vision to see Mozambique and other country’s with high illiteracy rates hear God’s Word through Audio Bibles. He is a recording technician for the audio bible recordings, Certified English Teacher and has a YWAM background.

Kristen Rider is Luke’s right hand woman! She works with Luke as a ministry and community development director as well as a recording technician for the Audio BIble recordings. She has a heart to see the gospel go out alongside social compassion with tangible solutions to encourage one’s spiritual life, physical needs, and healthcare.  Kristen’s focus is to invest and empower individuals in rural communities who lack opportunity and training. In partnership with the local artisans she is a product designer for CCO’s product line projects where they receive business training and are given skills to create products that can be sold to a larger consumer base or in the local markets. She studied Fine Arts, Graphic & Product design & Natural Healing.  She is currently a student of Natural Medicine in the Tropics.
